Burrito Mama, a new specialist burrito restaurant, is set to launch on Thursday 7 November with an identity and design crafted by BuroCreative.

BuroCreative created the name and identity for the brand, as well as working alongside Flypay to develop an app for the brand and with architects Softroom to handle the interior of the London restaurant.

“Despite origins in Mexico, burritos are becoming a UK staple, especially at lunchtimes. We felt it was right to move away from obvious ethnic cues to something more about product taste and experience," said creative director Roly Grant.

The brand looks to focus on both freshness and speed, with the visuals using vibrant colours and hand-rendered, overprinted graphics.
