Millennial Media appoints Zac Pinkham as interim MD for EMEA

Millennial Media has appointed Zac Pinkham as the interim managing director for EMEA, The Drum has learned, replacing Gavin Stirrat.

It is understood that Pinkham, previously EMEA sales director at Millennial, will take up his new role this week.

He said: “I look forward to this exciting challenge. I’m obviously very proud to have been chosen to lead and continue the great work of the Millennial Media team in EMEA. This is a company that prides itself on putting its customers at the forefront of everything we do, and this will very much be my main focus over the coming months.”

He will take up the role as Stirrat leaves the company to pursue new opportunities.

“Gavin has done an outstanding job of establishing Millennial Media in EMEA, and I would like to thank him for his vital contribution to the business,” said Mollie Spilman, EVP for global sales and operations. “Zac has vast experience in the mobile advertising industry and in cultivating business. He has been a crucial part of the Millennial Media leadership team in EMEA since 2010 when the organisation first established our office in the region, and is the right person to oversee the business as we identify a permanent candidate to continue the company’s ambitious growth plans.”

In his new position, Pinkham will take over all managing director responsibilities, including managing relationships with brands and agencies, building new business and looking to deliver results for Millennial Media clients in EMEA.

Stirrat is understood to have agreed to join mobile DSP StrikeAd.
