VisitEngland puts out tender for 2014 social media campaign

VisitEngland has issued a tender for its 2014 social media campaign, dubbed 'England's hall of fame'.

Tender documents reveal that the contract will be worth between £25,000-£50,000 and is estimated to last from 26/11/2013 - 30/04/2014.

Sarah Long, head of corporate communications for VisitEngland, explained to The Drum: "We are looking for an agency to build and manage an app for us to support a PR / Marketing campaign. Following the success off a campaign entitled 101 Things to do Before You Go Abroad VisitEngland will be launching follow on campaign in 2014 which will support key themes across the marketing piece and drive engagement across our social media platforms. A key focus will be on maximising user generated content to support advocacy."

The contract will be awarded based 'on the most economically advantageous tender'.
