Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson had an affair, jury in phone-hacking trial is told
Rebekah Brooks and Andrew Coulson had an affair that lasted six years, the jury in the phone-hacking trial has been told.
Affair: The court was told of the affair
Andrew Edis QC told the jury in his opening statement for the prosecution that a letter written by Rebekah Brooks to Coulson in February 2004 was found on her computer and shows that the two former editors of the News of the World were having an affair.
Edis added that the affair is suspected to have begun before that date. The trial at the Old Bailey continues.
