Santander has launched a partnership with News UK to create a campaign through The Times which will offer SMEs information and advice through editorial content, and provide a networking facility.

Partnership: Santander will work with News UK and The Times

The ‘Successful Modern Entrepreneurship’ campaign will feature content from business writers at The Times, input from entrepreneurs such as Dragon’s Den’s James Caan and founder of Charles Tyrwhitt Nicholas Wheeler, and consist of varying services across print, online and live events.

The Times print edition will feature a four-page supplement when the campaign launches on 29 October and 10 eight-page supplements will be released over the following 15 months.

Online activity will include an ‘SME Hub’ hosting case studies and live Q&A sessions, while a partnership with LinkedIn will help drive traffic to the site.

Paula Ickinger, managing director, corporate, commercial and business banking at Santander, said: “We hope that through this partnership we can create a community in which businesses can share experiences and learn from one another while also gaining access to a wealth of information and contacts to help inspire business confidence and innovation, and ultimately fuel UK economic growth.”

The partnership will create a series of live events including panel discussions and presentations.
