BWM Melbourne has been awarded the creative brief for the Australia Southern Territory Salvation Army after a competitive pitch.

BWM's brief is to refresh the Christmas campaigns

"The Salvation Army works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of so many Australians including just this week starting the Bushfire Appeal to help those affected by the bush fires in New South Wales," said managing director Mark Watkin.

"It's an honour for our team to have the opportunity to work with such a well-loved organisation that is consistently lending a helping hand to those in need."

BWM have been given the brief to refresh the Salvos’ campaigns for The Red Shield Appeal and Christmas Appeal in 2014.

"The Salvation Army is dedicated to making a difference but needs the support of the Australian community to continue its work,” said Salvos’ spokesman Neil Venables.

“It's important for us to communicate what we do and how we make a difference. BWM's team showed a passion and depth of understanding for our mission. We're excited to use their expertise and new ideas to get Australians talking."

Paul Williams, group CEO of BWM said the company’s momentum in Melbourne continues, and the account win was a great start for its new MD.
