The BBC has been urged to apologise after an episode of How I’ve Got News for You, in which guest presenter Jo Brand suggested that Prince Harry snorts cocaine.

Brand read the joke off an autocue when discussing the christening of Prince George, when discussing godparents.

Wrongly naming one of the godparents as Hugh van Cutsem, instead of William van Cutsem, Brand added “I presume that's a nickname – as in Hugh van Cutsem and Harry then snorts them."

Following the joke, the camera cut to the teams, before fellow team captain Ian Hislop remarked "Have we lost the lawyers?”
