Until now, Vine users have created their increasingly imaginative videos simply using a series of uninterrupted takes.

Now, Vine has been updated to include “powerful” additions to the camera, including Time Travel which allows users to remove, reorganise or replace any shot within a post at any time. Users simply tap the green bar from the camera while you’re shooting, or tap ‘Edit’ when you’re previewing a post.

Additionally, a Sessions feature has been developed to allow users to save up to ten posts to come back and work on at a later time. A new icon on the bottom of the right corner of the screen directs people to save a new session or open and existing one.

“Vine was built for one purpose: to make it easy for people to capture life in motion and share it with the world. That is the reason we built the Vine camera, and it’s why we continue to improve upon and build new tools for your creations, nurturing the balance between power and simplicity that you’ve come to expect from us,” said a blog post from Ben Sheats, iOS Director, announcing the updates.

“We think these features offer new ways for people to express themselves and their creativity. We hope you like them.”

You can download the update from the App Store and Google Play.
