Wednesday 4 December will hereby be known as Disruption Day as The Drum seeks to prove that the digital revolution has barely begun at the annual 4 Minute

Warning conference in London.

Taking place at SapientNitro and in partnership with Millenial Media and Rocketfuel, this year’s Four Minute Warning serves as a timely wakeup call to the changes happening at alarming pace. By joining us you’ll get to spend the day asking what your world will look like if current trends continue. Is your current business model sustainable? Or is it about to be overwhelmed?

Fuelling the day’s discussions will be wearable technology, self-aware computers, connected cities and, of course, data. Delegates will also hear how the worlds of content-creation, citizen journalism, mobile and education are evolving.

Sharing insights will be Forrester Research senior analyst Anthony Mullen; global head of strategy at FutureBrand, Tom Adams; Kim de Ruiter, head of mobile and entertainment partnerships, Cheil Europe; Blippar founder and CEO Ambarish Mitra; Lauren Bowker, Materials Alchemist, SEETHEUNSEEN; and many more.

Gordon Young, editor of The Drum, said: “We have effectively designated December 4 as Disruption Day. This conference will aim to give agencies, marketers and businesses an insight into the new tech - some of which may currently seem insignificant - that could rise up and break their current business models.

“On one level it may seem scary. But on another level the day will be inspirational. As well as huge threats, amazing opportunities loom on the horizon.”

If you want to know what will affect business in the future, when it’s likely to impact, where exponential growth will lead us, and why you need to take more than just an academic interest in the digital revolution now is your chance.

You can find out more information and book tickets on the 4 Minute Warning website.
