Frankie Cory has been announced as the new chief executive of Mischief PR, joining from the EDC UK Group, where she was chief executive of the network’s Citizen Relations.

Cory takes over the position which has been vacant since the departure of Mitchell Kaye earlier in this year.

Debbie Klein, UK chief executive of parent company Engine, said of the appointment: “Mischief has an incredible track record of solving business problems for its clients and is known for pushing the boundaries of what PR is. Frankie joins at an exciting time for the agency as it looks to use the Engine model to increase Mischief’s offering and give its ideas the impact they deserve.”

Cory, who has also served at Frank PR and Cohn & Wolfe, has become responsible for leading the 70-strong agency, which handles PR for clients including Unilever, Birds Eye, AkzoNobel and The FA.
