Founding client partner of Kitcatt Nohr Digitas Vonnie Alexander has been appointed managing director of the agency as it announces the departure of co-founder and chief operating officer Jeremy Shaw.

Appointment: Vonnie Alexander becomes managing director

In addition, Ben Golik has been named executive creative director and Andrew Purdy has been appointed head of project management and operations.

Alexander became a founding partner of the agency in 2002 and led the recent Weight Watchers account win.

She said: “Broadening my remit at this stage in the agency’s evolution Is particularly exciting. Our top three clients of 2013 were all new business wins from last year, and we have seen more new wins this year to see us grow by over 20 per cent.

Marc Nohr, chief executive of the agency, added: “It’s wonderful to see Vonnie, Ben and Andrew taking on even greater areas of responsibility. We owe Jeremy a huge debt of gratitude and all our very best wishes for the next phase of his life.”

Shaw became chairman of the agency when it was founded and later COO when it merged with Digitas in 2011.

Golik takes on his new role after eight years at the agency while Purdy joins from CHI & Partner, where he was head of production.
