The Association for Data Driven Marketing has announced that it is to open a Queensland branch, to supplement its existing interstate branches in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.

The event will be marked with a creative breakfast to inaugurate the group.

“The event will allow local marketers to network and meet the new QLD Branch team,” the ADMA said.

The branch will comprise Neil Jorgensen, Signet as branch chair; Charlotte Hellen, Clemenger Proximity; Tracey Anderson, Decoder; Sean Cooper, Torque; Llew Jury, Reload; Rod Pierce, Smartcomm; Toni Smith, Sunsuper, and Wayne Ratcliffe, DK Group.

The ADMA said the breaksfast’s guest speaker will be Andy Pontin, CEO, Clemenger BBDO and ADMA board member.

He will present the findings of ADMA’s latest research, on the link between creativity and effectiveness, and will talk about how creative campaigns can help business success in the long-term.

“Queensland marketers asked us to create a branch because there is little networking happening for them in Brisbane,” ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster said.

“It was great to be able to engage the marketing community in Queensland.

“We’ve put together an energetic committee who are committed to creating great events that will meet the needs of local marketers for social and educational purposes. The kick-off event with Andy is a great start.”

The event takes place on 12 November.
