Rebecca McKinlay - Ambition

Becky’s previous client-side career for Club 18-30 and News International meant she was unlikely to fade into the background of the agency landscape. Her profile has increased recently by focussing on networking and PR – resulting in published pieces in The Guardian, interviews on LBC and speaker contributions at industry events.A firm believer that smaller agencies deliver better value for money, service and in many instances, creativity, than larger agencies, Ambition’s founding principles of being ‘Low in Fat, High in Protein’ remain part of the agency’s DNA and Becky’s commitment to the way Ambition recruit, deliver and manage activities.

Tony Foggett - Code Computerlove

As CEO of Code Tony has been the driving force behind the agency’s unique culture and Code way of working that underpins the agency’s ongoing success, including (in the past 12 months) a 15% increase in revenue, string of new business wins and 12 awards in the past 12 months for its work. Tony is also chair of Manchester Digital, playing an instrumental role in growing membership by 70%, enhancing the credibility of the organization as a key voice of the sector and influencer to the council, local government and education establishments.

Nicky Unsworth - BJL

Nicky Unsworth is one of the best know names and faces in the North West’s marketing industry and she continues to lead a growing and ambitious agency in BJL. Under Unsworth’s guidance the agency continues to go from strength to strength both creatively and as an agency and also as part of Tribe Global Unsworth continues to push the agency at an international level. She also a lovely person and seems to fit 36 hours into every day.

Mike Rose - Chapter

Rose co-launched his agency in the West Midlands over four years ago and despite many pouring scorn over his new agency model he has stood firm and built the agency solidly and steadily. Also during that time he has proven that not all agencies need to be alike and that agency heads can be hands on with clients while still steering the ship in the right direction. And all this done with a smile on his face and with boundless energy.

Karl Barker - Cube3

Barker’s agency Cube3 has really established itself as a fantastic marketing business over the last two years and that is in no small part due to Barker taking on a more ambassadorial role with his agency. Barker is out there, seemingly everywhere across the UK, raising the profile of his agency and making sure that clients know exactly what Cube 3 stands for – no nonsense marketing.
