Lads’ mag Maxim has included Chris Lilley’s comic creation Ja’mie King in its annual Hot 100 list, the first time a man has made the list. The character scraped in at no 98. Ja’mie features as the star of Lilley’s fourth network TV series ‘Private School Girl’, which premieres on October 23.Ja’mie is not the first fictional character to appear on the list. Last year, Family Guy’s Lois Griffin made the cut, alongside murder accused Amanda Knox.“Is this wrong? Probably. OK, definitely,” Maxim said.“But Chris Lilley is so convinving in the role. We think of it more as recognition of his fine work.”Lilley announced the news via his Twitter persona @jamieschoolgirlLilley has twice won the AACT award for best performance, and has been nominated by the AFI as best lead actor.Lilley as Ja'mie placed higher than Federal member Tanya Plibersek who came in at 99, and Liberal Fiona Scott, who placed 100.The Maxim list is topped by Jennifer Hawkins.
