Former Billington Cartmell Group MD Jason Nicholas joins Space as managing partner

Former Billington Cartmell Group MD Jason Nicholas has joined Space as managing partner.

Prior to the new role, Nicholas spent 15 years at Billington Cartmell and before that he had a client-side stint as marketing controller at Diageo.

Co-founder and managing partner David Atkinson said: “Jason is one of the best agency leaders I’ve met and had the pleasure of working with.

“He’s a brilliant all-rounder, equally at home plotting brand strategy for clients or coming up with ideas.”

He added: “His mix of client and agency-side experience gives him a strong appreciation of the needs of both, which offers him a good perspective on developing strong agency-client relationships.”

The agency has worked with brands including Heineken, Nivea, Samsung, the Telegraph and Lufthansa.
