Stripe wins contract for Glasgow Loves Christmas PR for fourth year
Glasgow City Marketing Bureau (GCMB) has appointed Stripe to handle PR for the ‘Glasgow Loves Christmas’ and ‘Late Night Trading’ campaigns for the fourth year running.

Stripe won the account after a four-way pitch and the agency has been tasked with targeting the urban Glasgow audience and attracting visitors from outside of the city. Promotion for traditional festive favourites such as Glasgow on Ice and the turning of the Christmas lights are also in the remit,
Juliet Simpson, managing director at Stripe, said: “Glasgow has an exciting and vibrant city centre offering and there is a huge opportunity to showcase the city during this crucial festive trading period.
“We’re looking forward to working with the GCMB team again this year to help establish Glasgow as Europe’s top shopping destination.”
The Late Night Trading campaign will involve promoting Glasgow’s city centre retailers and encouraging Christmas shoppers to take advantage of extra hours services.
The contract for both briefs lasts six months.
