Debenhams has unveiled its second autumn/winter 2013 ad, created by JWT London and again using ‘Youth’ by Foxes as its soundtrack.

Picking up where the previous ‘grand hotel’ spot left off, the ad looks at the coats and boats available in Debenhams.

Directed by Stuart Douglas, the Prague-based advert again uses the sketch motif from the first Debenhams film to promote the designers, as the clothes turn from the real life version to a sketch by the designer.

“The sketch is a key moment as it highlights that some of fashion’s biggest names have created the looks you see on screen,” said marketing director, Richard Cristofoli.

This ad follows the September ad, which first aired during the X Factor of Sunday 1 September, and saw Foxes sing.

It is part of a multi-million pound campaign as Debenhams looks to strengthen its position as the destination for designer clothing at high street prices.
