Grolsch has appointed Karmarama as creative agency following a four-way pitch, replacing BMB.

Appointment: Grolsch has named Karmarama as creative agency

The agency secured the account after completing a brief to create a disruptive new campaign for the brand using digital content and social channels.

Sophie Erskine, portfolio brand manager at Molson Coors, said: “Following the rebrand in 2012, our focus is on using digital channels to capitalise on the popularity of world beers at present.

“We were very impressed by Karmarama’s ideas to take Grolsch to the top with a new social media strategy and integrated approach.”

The agency will work alongside below-the-line agency Life on a new brand campaign set for release next year.

The account adds to the Cobra win for Karmarama in September, another brand in the Molson Coors portfolio.
