Money Expert has been told to stop broadcasting an advert which boasts, "You can treat your loved one to a stunning selected £40 flower bouquet for just £15" without mentioning a £5.99 delivery charge, in its current form.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) found in its ruling that the advert's small print was insufficient to inform viewers of the extra charges:

"Although we noted that the ad stated "T&Cs apply", we considered that an additional charge for delivery was material information which should have been set out in the ad. We therefore concluded that the ad was misleading."

The ruling comes exactly three months after ASA forced the company to remove a false claim that they offered a 55 per cent saving on a coffee machine, as the deal did not take into account a £6.99 delivery charge.
