Sue Holloway becomes CEO of Carat Scotland as Aegis Media acquires MediaVision

Aegis Media has acquired Edinburgh media planning and buying agency MediaVision, which has merged with Carat Edinburgh to form Carat Scotland.

The acquisition of the agency, founded in 1997 to offer specialism in retail, travel and public sector work, will see it merged with Carat Edinburgh and founder Sue Holloway will become chief executive.

Media Vision's exceptional success in the retail sector complements the skills of our existing Carat business in Edinburgh which is focused on the public sector, financial services and utilities. This is an exciting acquisition which allows us to deliver expertise across all industries and to exploit all new business opportunities fully."

Following Holloway's appointment as CEO, it has been confirmed that Charlotte Bell as managing director of Carat Scotland.
