Groupon has made four new appointments to its senior team. Robbie Schwietzer has been named SVP of operations while Lisa Kennedy has been appointed to the role of VP, general manager, of Groupon Reserve, and David Kerr brought in as VP, General Manager, of Home Services. Finally, Hoke Horne will lead Groupon’s global commercial finance team as vice president.

“We’re thrilled to bring Robbie, Lisa, David and Hoke and their incredible caliber of talent to Groupon,” said Eric Lefkofsky, CEO, Groupon. “All four are well-regarded experts in their fields and will help take Groupon to the next level.”

Having spent 10 years at Amazon, most recently as Vice President of Amazon Prime, Schwietzer has become involved in implementing, overseeing and growing Groupon’s various enterprise operations.

Kennedy will head the Groupon Reserve team, having previously founded Hopscotch, a daily deal site aimed at parents in India.

Meanwhile, Kerr has been tasked with driving outreach to home and auto-related merchants and create a marketplace experience for Groupon customers to find, schedule and purchase deals from local service providers.

Horne has been brought in to lead Groupon’s global commercial finance team and help steer finance operations for Groupon’s global businesses. He joins the company from Juniper Networks, where he previously served as VP of software finance and pricing.
