Taiwanese animation firm Next media Animation, famous for reconstructing global news events in crude form in pursuit of YouTube hits, has responded to a resignation video from one of its animators with a clip of its own.

Yesterday Marina Shifrin walked out of her role at the firm, posting a subtitled clip of herself singing Kanye West’s Gone to draw attention to her complaints of a lack of quality content.

Since gaining more than 10m views her bosses have decided to hit back with footage of their own showing ex-colleagues dancing around the office to the same track whilst wishing her well.

Viewers are also reminded that the firm is now hiring to fill the recently vacated position.
