HootSuite has launched a Dailymotion app in a collaboration which will allow users to upload, manage and share videos across multiple social networks from a single location.

The free app was developed by Synaptive Networks and features search, upload and manage functions for users’ Dailymotion videos.

Mark Holder, director of platform at HootSuite, said: “Our focus is on providing a broad set of social tools to help HootSuite users more effectively execute and manage all aspects of their social campaigns.

“The Dailymotion app adds to this toolset, providing an additional channel for video content management and distribution.”

Dailymotion is the world’s second largest video platform next to YouTube.
