Yahoo's most popular Apple iOS7-related searches highlight problems facing operating system's users

Apple iOS7 users have struggled to get to grips with the new operating system, if popular connected search terms released by Yahoo are any indication.

The tech company has revealed that following the release of iOS7 on the iPhone earlier this month, searches for the new software rose by 2,257 per cent. The most popular search terms also indicate that users have struggled with to get to grips with some of the system's features, with one of the most popular searches being; “how do you close apps on iOS7?”

Other popular searches around the product have been; “iOS7 download problems,” “iOS7 jailbreak” and “iOS7 wallpaper”, Yahoo has revealed to The Drum.

Yahoo has also revealed that searches for Apple’s iOS7 were up by 10 times on the number of searches for the operating predecessor last year, while the release of iPhone 5C has also seen Yahoo searches increase by 186 per cent for the product.

It has also been reported that the iOS7 has caused feelings of nausea amongst users, through the introduction of zoom and slide functions.
