#AgentsofSHIELD, Agent Coulson and #ThorReturns all trend as Marvel TV spin-off hits UK screens
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, the spin-off TV series from the Marvel Avengers films, saw its first episode generate over 10,000 tweets before the first ad break when it aired on Channel 4 last night.SecondSync reported that #AgentsofSHIELD was already trending by the first break, with the return of the presumed dead (after being attacked by Loki in Avengers Assemble) Agent Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, also leading to the character’s name trending.Channel 4 and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D creator and producer Joss Whedon also trended in the UK, as well as #ThorReturns, as a trailer for the next Marvel film Thor – The Dark World was aired.
