LinkedIn appoints Penry Price as VP of global sales for marketing solutions in New York
LinkedIn has announced the appointment of Penry Price, formerly of Google, as vice president of global sales for marketing solutions.
Price, who has held leadership positions at Google, and Dstillery, has been appointed to raise awareness and drive revenue for LinkedIn and LinkedIn’s customers.
Mike Gamson said of the appointment: “In his new post, Penry will play a significant role as we usher in the next major wave of growth for our advertising business.”
The appointment comes shortly after David Thacker joined LinkedIn as the vice president of product for marketing solutions in August.
Gamson added: “We are thrilled to add such seasoned executives as Penry and David to lead in our efforts to evolve LinkedIn into the definitive publishing platform for professional content. Their collective talent will undoubtedly accelerate our ability to bring meaningful opportunities for our members and customers for years to come.”
Price will lead from the New York office.
