Tesla founder Elon Musk posts job ad on Twitter for car autopilot technology engineers
CEO and co-founder of Tesla Elon Musk has posted a job ad on Twitter for engineers to help the company develop autopilot technology for cars.Musk said there was an “intense effort” underway to develop the technology and invited engineers to get in touch to work with the team, which reports directly to him.Tesla is in competition with Google and Nissan to create self-driving cars. Last month, Nissan said it aims to have auto cars on the market by 2020.Musk, who also founded Paypal, is well-known for his pursuit of innovative transport technologies and recently revealed his vision for a “fifth mode of transport” called The Hyperloop.He has almost 385,000 followers on Twitter.
