DDB & Tribal Amsterdam has announced the creation of an e-commerce department led by Eduard de Wilde, newly appointed head of e-commerce.

“Innovation in retail and e-commerce have proven to be important for our clients,” says Jacco ter Schegget, managing partner of DDB & Tribal Amsterdam. “At DDB & Tribal Amsterdam we are constantly looking to develop new products and services that strengthen our clients’ positioning. It was a logical next step to grow our e-commerce knowledge so we build an omnichannel proposition for them.”

De Wilde will be in charge of extending the agency’s e-commerce service offering for global brands.

He said: “I’m impressed that at DDB & Tribal Amsterdam we now offer global clients the complete service package. In the ever changing landscape of brand communications today, it is crucial to guide consumers from conversations with a brand to transaction in one easy step. At DDB & Tribal Amsterdam we create seamless consumer experiences, integrating all brand touch points such as social, mobile and experience on the shopping floor.”

Prior to joining DDB & Tribal Amsterdam, de Wilde was managing partner at Jungle Minds, a Dutch digital strategy and design agency.
