Scottish Rugby has announced the appointment of MediaCom Edinburgh to handle its media planning and buying.
MediaCom Edinburgh will begin its work for the governing body for rugby union in Scotland in support of the Autumn Tests campaign, which will see Scotland take on some of the best teams in the world in South Africa and Australia.
Announcing the appointment, Toni Blackhurst, head of marketing and commercial partnerships at Scottish Rugby, said: “We are delighted to be working with MediaCom on the coming season’s campaigns and in particular on developing an inventive multimedia strategy which will engage with fans across the ages and inspire Scotland through Rugby."
David Shearer, managing director of MediaCom Edinburgh, added: “We’re really pleased to be part of the Scottish Rugby team and are looking forward to helping create even stronger connections with fans.”
MediaCom Edinburgh was appointed following a three-way pitch.
