R/GA announces Joe Scartz as managing director, client services, of its Chicago operation
R/GA has appointed Joe Scartz as managing director, client services, R/GA Chicago.
Scartz, with more than 10 years of management experience, has been tasked with leading the Capital One account while providing strategic direction and managing client relationships as well as driving growth at the agency.
He reports to Jeff Brecker, vice president, managing director, R/GA Chicago. Brecker said: “Joe’s marketing experience in the financial category and past successes running multiple accounts makes him the perfect addition to our leadership team here in Chicago.
“There are few rare talents who understand the importance of integrating technology, UX design, creative, planning, social, media and mobile to deliver and exceed on client expectations - Scartz has a history of aligning these key disciplines for success."
Scartz most recently served at Digital BrandWorks as VP marketing, prior to that he spent eight years at Critical Mass where he managed the Chicago office.
