The Telegraph and BT Sport announce monthly sports supplement - Telegraph Sport Monthly

To strengthen its sports offering The Telegraph, in conjunction with BT Sport, is releasing sport-focussed supplement –Telegraph Sport Monthly - running once a month between August and December.

Of the new launch, Adam Sills, sports editor of The Daily Telegraph said: The section will offer a great platform for our unrivalled team of writers to preview the month ahead alongside BT Sport's experts and personalities.”

The first edition this Friday (16 August) features content from BT Sport personalities including an exclusive interview with Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea by Rio Ferdinand, insight from Lions captain Sam Warburton, and a tactics column by Steve McManaman.

BT marketing director, David James, commented: “We’re delighted to be partnering with The Telegraph for the launch of Telegraph Sport Monthly. This new supplement allows us to showcase the breadth of sporting coverage BT Sport is offering, from Barclays Premier League football and Aviva Premiership Rugby to all the American sports whilst also giving Telegraph readers all the sports content they crave.”

Ben Ball, The Daily Telegraph’s sport sponsorship manager, added: “With BT Sport we have developed a product that not only enhances the current editorial offering to readers but also allows BT Sport the chance to integrate their programming and talent messaging.”
