Jobs: Shelter Scotland is looking for a marketing manager

Shelter Scotland is looking for a national marketing communications manager for a role in east-central Scotland to raise awareness of the organisation’s work. Responsibilities will include developing an effective marketing plan to improve the take-up of services and managing Shelter’s digital self-help service. Proven experience in the field is required alongside knowledge of project management and database tools. Salary for the position is £37,987 and the closing date for applications is 27 August.

A freelance designer is required at The Drum, based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be needed to help out in the studio during busy periods and will work on branding for various conferences and events as required. Applicants should be skilled in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and pay excellent attention to detail. Applications should be submitted for this position by 14 August.

Engage Interactive is looking for a web developer based in Leeds with strong PHP/MySQL skills within a LAMP environment, ideally with experience of frameworks. An understanding of the latest front end build techniques, such as HTML5/CSS and JQuery, would be an advantage. Staff benefits include an iPhone and the company will foot the bill. The closing date for applications is 15 August.

A part-time graphic designer position is available at Crieff Hydro in east-central Scotland for a salary of up to £24,000. Candidates should have be established in producing contemporary design solution across a range of media and a portfolio demonstrating a digital edge. Experience using Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop is required alongside a familiarity with buying and managing print and other media. Applications should be submitted by 14 August.

Become is seeking an Arabic designer for a creative agency based in central London. Proficiency in Arabic language is essential and experience in Arabic typesetting and using Adobe InDesign is required. The position is a two-month post beginning in September and candidates should be able to bring their own laptop with Adobe CS6 (Arabic enabled) installed. The closing date for applications is 26 September.
