Foot Locker is rolling out a national commercial highlighting its ‘Approved’ sneakers and gear, with the NBA's James Harden and Stephen Curry both starring.

The spot features Harden in the midst of recording his first R&B single in the studio. Fortunately, Curry intervenes, explaining that Harden doesn't need to try so hard to keep things "fresh"—he can just go to Foot Locker.

"We're excited to bring James and Stephen together for our latest commercial supporting our 'Approved' campaign," said Stacy Cunningham, executive vice president, marketing, at Foot Locker. "The new spot really shows how these two players embody the sense of humour that underlies the Foot Locker brand marketing programs and drives our fresh product collection message."

The spot was developed by BBDO New York and was timed to launch during the key back-to-school selling season for Foot Locker.
