HTC has released a teaser of its new ‘Here’s To Change’ campaign which is due to launch on YouTube on Thursday 15 August, followed by cinema and TV spots.

Starring new brand ambassador Robert Downey Jr the campaign focuses on the brand itself rather than specific handsets and plays around what the brand name stands for.

The teaser’s ‘Humongous Tinfoil Catamaran’ offering will be followed with ‘Hipster Troll Carwash’ and ‘Hold This Cat’, in a bid to generate interest and chat amongst consumers.

Online reports suggest ‘Change’ campaign will run for a period of 24-36 months and will be split into three phases, the first of which sees a two-minute ad running in key markets featuring Downey.

Subsequent phases of the campaign will begin to focus on mobile features and handsets.
