Sydney luxury stockings, burlesque and retro lingerie boutique Sweet Pins has secured the services of Melbourne based recording artist and festival performer Jane Badler to roadtest its forthcoming line of seamed stockings as part of its #ProjectSelf social media campaign.

Sweet Pins is 'very excited' to have Badler aboard

Badler is remembered by many for her iconic role as sexually charged villainess ‘Diana’ in the 1980s sci-fi series ‘V’.

In recent years she has recorded two albums and an EP or original music and appears next week at the Stockholm Fringe, Sweden.

“I am very excited about having Jane on board,” Sweet Pins director and founder Lidia Scotto di Vetta told The Drum.

“The campaign is taking shape - we've had so many emails in reply to our request for reviewers.

“The reviews will be published on our blog and website, but we will promote them through social media as well. We encourage the reviewers to take pictures to show us how they style the product- hopefully we'll get some great ideas coming through.”

The samplers are requested to provide feedback on the “fit, size, quality, wearability, Va Va Voom factor – everything,” of its own signature line of classic seamed stockings via social media.

The online campaign is supported by experiential events including a members only pre-sale of the new line of stockings on Friday. The products will be released to the public for sale next week.

Scotto di Vetta said these were “very exciting times” for the Sweet Pins brand.
