KFC PR team jumps into action after American family wakes up to a 7ft bucket in their garden
A family in rural Waynesboro, in the US state of Georgia, recently woke up to find a 7ft KFC bucket sitting in their front garden.
Appearing overnight, the family said they were shocked, but left disappointed to find there was no fried chicken inside.
“You just don’t expect to see that when you leave your house,” Aleena Headrick told ABCNews.com.
KFC was quick to jump on the stunt - which was apparently a result of the family’s sign-collecting landlord dropping off the giant bucket – and have said it will send the Headricks some free chicken.
“We have been in touch with her and we’re working on a date when we can deliver Kentucky Fried Chicken and all the fixings for her and her family,” a spokesman said.
