Fox Sports has unveiled its first Dutch ad campaign with Anomaly Amstedam.

‘Totaal Voetbal’ centres around the uniquely Dutch take on football. Directed by Johan Kramer, the 60” ad is an ode to Dutch football culture and the emotions of the game across generations, from the young boy with his bedroom plastered in posters, to the amateur Sunday league player, to Eredivisie legends such as Frank de Boer and the Koeman brothers.

The campaign promotes Fox Sports’ offering of all Eredivisie, Barclays Premier League, Serie A live matches as well as much more football. On top of the TV commercial OOH, print, radio and digital creatives will also run.

Arno de Jong, commercial and marketing director for Fox Sports, commented: “The Totaal Voetbal campaign is a tribute to the massive role that football plays in Dutch society, and at the same time shows the respect and passion from FOX Sports towards our precious game. Anomaly and Johan Kramer did a great job in understanding the emotions and traditions, with this appealing and high quality campaign as a result.”

Anomaly executive creative director Mark Sloan added: “Football is such an integral part of Dutch society and FOX Sports truly understands this. We jumped at the chance to pay heartfelt tribute to the nation's game.”

Anomaly has also been named the agency of record for Fox with an integrated campaign for the channel set to debut on Monday 12 August.
