Design and communication agency House Mouse has announced that it is to rebrand as HM. The rebrand is said to have been the fruit of “several months of extensive research”.

A logical step in succession

"After a successful organisational redesign over the last 12-18 months, our brand now represents an evolution and progression, by mirroring what is seen on the inside,” said Nancy Bugeja, managing director.

“Allowing us to speak with a contemporary voice, our brand also pays homage to our rich history, growth and the way we view design.

"We are living in a time of increased information. Our agency's ambition is to offer clarity to our clients, as their creative partner, and the public with well-considered curated perspectives. With a heritage that is pure, confidence that is acquired from our many years of experience and a strength that values individual thought of each member and contributor, HM. will continue to innovate and thrive.

"Displaying authenticity and providing meaningful work is something that is embedded in our vision - one which will guide our expansion into Europe, Asia and the Americas."

Miguel Valenzuela, creative director, said: "The brand's design and application reflects our desire to return communication to its purest, simplest form. When working on this brand, we wanted to ensure that it matched our progressive approach to design."

Bugeja said the rebrand represented a logical step in HM’s succession.
