SquareTrade set for PR, social and experiential campaign to build brand across UK

SquareTrade, the protection plan provider, will begin a campaign to raise its profile in the UK, having appointed Frank PR to target consumer and trade audiences.

The San Francisco-based company already works with Frank PR in the US, but has turned to its UK counterpart to handle its social media and experiential activity as well as PR.

Jessica Hoffman, head of global communications, explained: "We’re embarking on an exciting challenge to transform a much maligned industry through great customer service. We need to get the word out that people have options when it comes to protecting their TVs, tablets, laptops, smartphones and the like and they shouldn’t settle for inferior service. We know Frank has the experience and the creativity to helps us create high impact campaigns that will drive broad awareness.”

Andrew Bloch, group managing director and founder of Frank PR, explained that the agency had been briefed with the launch of a “disruptive campaign” for the brand in able to make the first consumer brand working in the warranty industry.

This is our first UK/USA cross-agency client and we look forward to being part of a global campaign with serious impact,” he added.

The campaign will begin from today (15 July).
