Following a record turn-out for this year’s elections, which involved 20 candidates, the pair will join the council and will oversee all the work and policies of the association in order to act as the voice for the digital industry in the region.

Tony Foggett, chair of Manchester Digital, said: “I am looking forward to working with the new council and I would like to express my thanks to all candidates who took the time and trouble to stand and my congratulations to those who have been elected.”

Also re-elected to the board were Jon Grant, Richard Hudson, Chris Marsh, Mike Ryan and Jon Stutfield.
