Sometimes it’s hard to know what to say when an ad comes along that grates like nails on a chalkboard and makes you yearn for coma inducement.

Sometime it might just be you that doesn’t like it.

However, with this Australian campaign for Kia we’ve checked and it’s definitely not a single opinion here as this advert sucks big time.

We at Marketing Weak are all for female empowerment and the modern woman – see our Woman in Digital series which proves that the role of women in business is strong and growing. This advert is clearly trying to appeal to that demographic…well we think it is, but the rousing speech delivered by this striding Sheila misses the mark by some way so it’s hard to tell exactly who is meant to want to run out and buy a car straight after seeing it.

But we still recommend a viewing.

We’re Marketing Weak – we don’t internalise. We vocalise (guff).
