Branston Pickle set to 'reignite the nation's love for pickled vegetables' through mcgarrybowen and UM appointments

Branston Pickle is set for a new communications programme following the appointment of mcgarrybowen and UM.

The appointments of the creative and media buying agencies to help create a communications programme for 2013-2014 by Mizkan, the Japanese company which brought the Branston brand from Premier Foods for over £92.5m last year, began after Easter.

The company has said that is plans to ‘invest substantially’ in the brand in a bit to ‘regnite the nation’s passions’ in pickled vegetables, which will include the Haywards and Sarsons sister brands as well.

Nakano UK Vinegar managing director Paul Shanahan, commented: “We’re looking forward to working with both agencies as part of our family and are raring to go with ideas to inspire and educate the consumer into the great tasting world of chutneys & relish, pickled vegetables and vinegars!”

The resulting activity is set to run in the build-up to Christmas.
