Broadcast agency 4mediarelations has named David Cotgreave as managing director, a move which sees current MD and founder Edward Cyster becoming CEO.

Of the changes Cyster said: “David has played a big part in the successful growth of 4mediarelations over the last six years, his extensive experience in broadcast PR means that he has the key skills to drive the business forward. It also allows me to focus on developing new opportunities for the business as we continue to grow in the UK.”

Cotgreave will now take over day-to-day responsibility for all of 4mediarelation’s business, as well as taking a seat on the group board. The promotion of Cotgreave sees a number of other internal promotions within the agency, including the appointment of Keith Donoghue as head of finance, Cassie Newham as operations manager, Layla Hawkins as group account director and Jennifer O’Shea as campaigns manager.

Cotgreave added: “I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the business into its next phase. 4mediarelations has a strong and experienced team leading its separate divisions, all of which have exciting growth potential and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for us.”
