Coca-Cola’s new ‘slimline’ cans for Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero will feature Spotify branding directing consumers to Spotify’s new interactive ‘PlaceLists’ app.

It is the result of a partnership deal the two companies struck seven months ago, as they aimed to “bring music to the world.”

The can links through to a red map showing the music people are listening to around the world. Additionally, working with Blippar, the cans allow consumers to access songs via an augmented reality element using smartphones and tablets.

According to Mashable, it will only roll out in the UK, with no immediate plans to bring the branded cans to the US market.
