APN Outdoor has secured Adelaide's first large format, high definition roadside digital billboard.

Gouger Street

The siting in Adelaide’s Gouger Street is part of a larger rollout of digital billboards across Australia.

"When we launched Melbourne's iconic Young & Jackson Digital Billboard, it kick-started the race to be able to offer advertisers Australia's first ever national Digital Billboard pack,” said APN Outdoor CEO, Richard Herring.

“Our commitment to this project has delivered a first for the industry, the country and in fact, the trans-Tasman region."

Damien Rath, APN Outdoor's general manager of digital said: "Working with Adelaide City Council on the Gouger St site has been a very rewarding process.

“Due to their forward-thinking approach, they have been able to embrace this opportunity and join the bigger picture of what APN Outdoor can offer advertisers - vibrant, high definition advertising campaigns in another high traffic, quality audience filled environment. Adelaide Council and its residents will also benefit by a component of community use of the screen."

The site will be converted to the digital board during the last economic quarter of 2013.
