Soap and toiletries business Bronnley is set to unveil its new website created by Southampton-based Idealogy later this week.

The new e-commerce platform coincides with the launch of four new collections for Christmas, which hope to broaden the brands appeal as well as target a new, younger, consumer.

“This is an exciting time for Bronnley – the business is now about growth and brand building,” said Dionne Anderson, Bronnely director and general manager.

The traditional soap and toiletries brand, which has held the Royal Warrant for the last 70 years, is staging revival after being brought out of administration by executive chairman Geoff Percy – the vision behind Simple Health & Beauty.

Anderson added: “The new website is the beginning of a clearly differentiated brand proposition which will increase brand penetration and appeal. We need to focus on developing the emotional connection that consumers feel for the Bronnley brand, and this is a strong step towards that.”

Of the website development, Idealogy digital media director Simon Johnson commented: “The new website will offer Bronnley consumers a completely new experience enabling them to connect with the brand more emotionally, and to shop confidently. The site sees Bronnley move to Magento - an Open Source world leading ecommerce platform. It takes advantage of new technologies and will provide best practice functionalities.”

An e-marketing platform has also been incorporated to assist the supporting social media activity which includes Twitter, Facebook and an interactive blog.
