British advertising body ISBA and the Design Business Association (DBA) have partnered to develop a mediator service to help clients improve their search for the right designer.

Service: The DBA has teamed up with ISBA

The service will also benefit agencies with direction on how to meet clients' expectations and standardised templates have been designed to guide either side.

ISBA consultancy manager Traci Dunne said: "Advertisers are often faced with a bewildering variety of design agencies to choose from. So, we are delighted to partner with the body that represents those agencies, to bring more clarity and promote better understanding between parties."

DBA CEO Deborah Dawton added: "At the DBA we are working to build the bridge between designers and clients, producing tools that help those relationships to flourish with the ultimate aim of producing strategically grounded and effective design outcomes in business."

The service offers guidelines on how to develop briefs and evaluate pitches.
