Honda has unveiled its latest brand campaign putting curiosity at its heart.

The two-minute brand film, created by Wieden+Kennedy, focuses on the curious spirit that has made the engineering company's name worldwide. In the film, that will follow sponsorship of Channel 4 documentaries, a pair of engineers inquisitive hands are seen intricately playing around transitioning between Honda products showing viewers the story of Honda's achievements.

"We are particularly excited about this year's campaign as it celebrates and really brings to life all the achievements that company has made over the last 65 years…Honda has plenty to shout about and has lots of stories to tell and we want to shout them as loud as we can," commented Olivia Dunn, head of marketing at Honda UK.

Of the creation of the brand film, animation directors at Nexus Productions Smith and Foulkes, said: "There is a kind of folklore to Honda and they are held with great affection and justifiable pride. We wanted to pay tribute to that by encapsulating some little touches within the film for the more knowledgeable eye that referred to these landmark moments in the company's history."

Collective London has also created an interactive website which will go live on Thursday 4 July to support the film - 'The Engineer's Cut' - featuring notes and snippets of stories from the engineer's perspective.

Wieden+Kennedy executive creative directors Tony Davidson and Kim Papworth added: "Honda has always believed in The Power of Dreams. This has continued to lead them to new insights and technologies. We wanted to tell the story of Honda's inquisitive spirit and the brand's journey of innovation over the last 65 years, in a new engaging way. We are celebrating the curiosity of the Honda engineers, who have made Honda what it is today."
