The Minimart appoints Andrew Barrington as managing director

The Minimart has appointed Andrew Barrington (pictured left), business director at The Bank, as its new managing director.

Barrington replaced Dan Whitney who has moved to a new venture in the tech sector, the agency confirmed. Has also held roles within Euro RSCG, TBWA, Lowe Lintas and as group head at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Tim Clyde, founder and creative partner at The Minimart, said the agency was excited by Barrington's appointment “He will deepen our client and brand experience with over 20 years of varied agency experience and his clear leadership skills coaching rugby will no doubt help lead the agency to the next level."

Barrington has worked with brands such as Philips, Visa Europe, Heineken, Carlsberg, Johnson & Johnson, SABMiller and COI during his career.
