Tesco Mobile looks like it’s on track to become the new O2 of social media, based on a number of comments it made on its Twitter feed over the weekend, including one which received over 4,000 retweets. While the tweets are being written by the Tesco Mobile care team, it is part of a strategy created by Jam, who trained the team on tone of voice for the #nojoke campaign.

Liyah Summers later tweeted a reply saying, ‘ok, you win, I’m sorry.’Part of the overarching Tesco Mobile campaign by Weiden & Kennedy, which looks to promote the fact that it was voted best network and that there is ‘nothing funny about Tesco Mobile’, other tweets included promising to change and singing songs.
